The journal Medical Mycology contains information about a study that revealed the presence of any harmful microorganisms in the human dishwashers . First of all, we are talking about   fungi   Exophiala, Rhodotorula and Candida parapsilosis. Analyses dishwashers conducted in various countries across the globe, and 62% are found traces of fungi.

When inhaled, these microorganisms can enter the lungs, where they subsequently create their own colony and cause infections difficult to treat. More often fungi   inhabit rubber pads inside the door dishwasher . Moreover, some microorganisms thrive particularly well in these consumer devices, especially after the use of a special detergent powder.

The greatest danger of fungi dishwashers are for people taking antibiotics, have a weakened immune system, diabetes and cystic fibrosis victims. They these microorganisms often causes infections of the lungs and skin. Fortunately, there are ways to substantially protect themselves from such fungi.
