 For muscle mass - protein after workouts  Should I eat protein before or after intense exercise? Scientific research has given the answer to this question.

This suggests that an older age does not affect the capability of the body to digest the protein and release of the food products.

True, this study has several limitations. First, not too large number of participants, and secondly, scientists monitor changes muscle   for a long period of time, they were interested only in short-term changes in the level of the protein in muscle tissues after drinking and protein shakes . So rather difficult to assume what exactly is good and young and elderly men derive if they consume protein after exercise.
