Children from very young mothers worse in school

Born children of young mothers get significantly lower grades in school than children of older mothers. A team of scientists from the University of Michigan found that the level of education mother affects school performance and her child.

American scientists have found that children born to mothers over 19 years, usually have higher school performance . According authors of the study, children of mothers over 19 exhibits the highest results in math and reading for 13-14 years, compared to those children, who are born to mothers younger than 18 years.

"The results of our studies convincingly show that the birth of a child during adolescence age entails negative consequences in terms of its performance - said study author Sandra Tang. - These negative effects we observed not only at first, but subsequent children young mothers .
