Sex after 50 years: good but not enough

People over 50 are dissatisfied with their sex lives, but more than half do not want or are embarrassed to discuss problems. This conclusion sociologists from the UK poll 2000 people.

Of those surveyed, only 22% said they were fully satisfied sex life, and 34% consider it unsatisfactory. 19% have sex more than once a week, and one-third of all respondents in general have forgotten about what is making love or else practice the intimate joy of not more than once a year. Unfortunately, the people of the age group older than 50 are extremely reluctant to discuss their sexual problems - it never engaged in 54% of women and 44% men. Given that 37% of respondents believe sex is still a very important part of life.

Men are twice as likely as women (19% versus 10%) are looking for any tips or advice about sex on the Internet. At the same time 70% of women and 60% of men admitted that they have never tried to find answers to questions about sex in any source of information. Although over the years, sex becomes less intense and frequent, people still appreciate the sexual attraction to each other.

For example, 53% of survey participants said that physical proximity to your partner, or feeling for them is the most important part of sexual life. Only 4% said to be regular   Sex After 50   the important need.

In general, experts say, that for many people of the older age group sex is still a fairly attractive side of life, and the popular belief that people in the mature years, sex is not needed, do not correspond to reality.
