Antidepressants are canceled: there is a new treatment for depression

Perhaps in the near future antidepressants gradually emerge from wider use. Pulsed magnetic therapy relieves symptoms of depression in one third of patients.

Depression occurs in every fourth inhabitant of the Earth in a period of life. But until now, experts have not agreed on how it should treat this severe mental illness. All study participants filled in a questionnaire before and after treatment. Magnetic fields generated by this unit, comparable in power to those that are created by an MRI scanner. They stimulate the neural activity that lowers blood pressure and depression are thought. With treatment of depression traditional antidepressants often have side effects such as nausea, hot flashes, loss of libido.
