A draft law on school uniforms to the State Duma. At the suggestion of the authors, the regions themselves will determine the requirements for the appearance of students.
In the State Duma a bill on the introduction of school uniforms. Its author made a deputy from the Popular Front Olga Timofeeva. She explained that it was not an "obyazalovke as it was before." The regions will be given the opportunity to "establish uniform requirements for clothing of students, taking into account local circumstances, the wishes of the schools, students and their parents."
The idea of the return of school uniforms supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the first conference of the ONF in Rostov-on-Don in late March. "School uniforms in this country should be," - said the head of state, offering to "take the federal decisions that would oblige the regions to introduce a form and allow the regions and municipalities to determine the details."
According to the head of the organizing committee for the founding congress ONF Andrei Bocharov, the introduction of school uniforms will not only social but also economic benefits. According to him, as a result of the introduction of school uniforms Russian light industry will be able to receive "orders" to the tune of 36 billion rubles annually.
As previously reported, a preliminary version of the form for Russian schoolchildren prepared a fashion designer Slava Zaitsev. It is expected that school clothes from his fashion house will be available in all regions of Russia. The cost of one set will vary from 3 to 3, 5 thousand rubles.
