 Senadeksin  Laxative. Main, an active substance - sennosides (A and B). Contains antraglikozidy Obtained from the leaves of cassia (Senna) and narrow-leaved aquifolium. Senadeksin increases peristalsis, irritates the intestinal membrane receptors, which leads to a rapid release of the intestine. The drug has no effect on digestion, non-addictive, it has a beneficial effect on the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract. Senadeksin begins its action within 8-12 hours. Available as chewable lozenges, in tablet form.

Indications:

Senadeksin prescribed for Aten hypotension gastrointestinal . constipation , Sluggish peristalsis of the large intestine (incl postoperative). The drug is used to X-ray examination of the digestive tract.

Contraindications:

Senadeksin not used in intestinal obstruction, gastrointestinal bleeding, allergies to the components, strangulated hernia . cystitis . metrorragii , Inflammatory diseases of the digestive tract in the acute period, spastic constipation, water and electrolyte imbalance. Use caution when renal insufficiency and hepatic systems, after abdominal operations, breastfeeding, pregnancy.

Side effect:

The drug Senadeksin can cause hematuria, proteinuria, hypokalemia , Melanosis intestine, flatulence , Discoloration of urine, dyspepsia, skin rash, fatigue, cramps, vascular collapse , Water and electrolyte imbalance, confusion.


Mode of application:

Senadeksin take at bedtime. Adults and children over 12 years: ½-1 cube lozenges or pills 1-2. In the absence of the effect of the dosage of the drug is increased to 3 tablets at the reception (a few days after the first dose). Children 1-6 years are prescribed 1/3 tablet. Children 6-12 years - half the adult dosage.

Special instructions:

Long-term use leads to Senadeksina dehydration , Diarrhea with metabolic syndrome, atony of the colon, indigestion. In some cases, it reduces the speed of psychomotor reactions (depending on the individual characteristics).

Drug Interactions:

Senadeksin violates absorption tetracyclines .
