 Lead is harmful to girls'  Exposure to lead can delay the onset of puberty in girls, as established scientists. This occurs even when blood lead levels below the threshold after which the recommended treatment.

If in early childhood in contact with the lead girl, then later they may experience delays in the onset of   puberty . This was confirmed by a study conducted by experts of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.

The researchers analyzed blood samples from more than 700 girls aged 6 to 11 years. The body of those who level   lead in the body   was increased (by more than 5 micrograms per deciliter) had a 75% less likely to have sufficient puberty hormone levels.

The difference in hormones was even greater in girls with elevated levels   lead in the body And cadmium that could potentially damage the kidneys, lungs, bones, and also increase the risk of cancer. So the girls' parents should be especially careful to see to it that their daughters as little as possible into contact with lead.

How is this contact? By itself, lead may be contained in the old dried ink, dust and soil construction. As to cadmium in the everyday life of its most common source is the cigarette smoke. Lead alone, and in combination with cadmium can inhibit the production of ovarian hormones that prepare the body of the girl to the first ovulation.
