The heart is now dead donor can be transplanted For the first time in world practice of medicine, surgeons from Australia managed to make a dead donor transplant hearts to three patients who needed transplants. In particular, the transplant was carried out 57-year-old woman and 44-year-old man. About a third of patients reported that at the moment he is in the process of recovery. After surgery, all three patients felt satisfactory.

Scientists believe that a successful heart transplant, which had already stopped beating, is a grand event in the world of medicine. Experts were able to develop a special technology that enables to successfully perform such a difficult surgery. Carrying out such operations will allow to save the life of at least 30% more people than was possible previously. After all, before the introduction of this technology in the lives of people transplanted exclusively organs that have been removed from the body of those who are in a state of   clinical death . Now, Australian experts have managed to transplant the heart, which stopped for twenty minutes before the surgery.

The path to this innovation was not easy: for 20 years, scientists have searched for a method that would allow the heart to maintain adequate livelihoods, extracted from the body. It was finally invented a device so-called "heart in a box": the body is placed in a special container filled with blood donor. With the special system of heart beats, and in the container holds the right temperature. As a consequence, the maximum functionality is preserved heart. Thanks to new technology reduces the number of restrictions with respect to the donor. Therefore, the creators of the new technology is rightly considered it a breakthrough.
