Brain aging before fatties

Brain aging before fatties The brains of obese people ages before. This conclusion was American scientists.

Brain   people suffering from obesity It gives a different reaction for cognitive tasks, as opposed to their counterparts of the brain of normal weight. It found scientists who were engaged in evidence the beneficial effects of diet and exercise on mental capacity . They found that these factors in middle age have a positive impact on the health of people who go into the category of "elderly." At this stage of life obesity   may play a very negative role. It increases the risk of developing dementia in the future and reduce the   mental abilities .

To find out the causes of this phenomenon, scientists Mitzi Gonzalez and Andrea Hayley of the University of Texas at Austin have organized the following experiment. They offered to volunteers 40-60 years to solve a set of challenges. At this time there monitoring the brain activity of subjects using functional magnetic resonance imaging.

Participants of the three groups (with obesity , Overweight and normal weight) equally well cope with the task. But people suffering from obesity, demonstrated a decrease in functional responses in the inferior parietal lobe. This category of participants also reacted to weak insulin   compared to others. The body of obese people cleaved glucose less efficiently, which can lead to diabetes.

Scientists have concluded that the violation of sensitivity Insulin (a phenomenon that usually accompanies obesity), serves as an intermediary between obesity in middle age and consequent reduction mental abilities .
