Depression in children leads to a decrease in brain

American scientists conducted a study involving a group of preschool children and found that children's depression lead to irreversible changes in the brain. This is because of the constant feeling of guilt felt by kids.

A group of researchers from Washington found adverse effects depression   on the child's body. For eight years, the researchers observed 149 children aged 3 to 6 years. It was found that a third of them are constantly experiencing guilt, which over time turns into clinical depression.

With age, these children are about 20% more likely to suffer bouts of depression. Scientists believe that the results of their research should pay attention to their parents in their parenting practices.
