The Museum Ostwall in Dortmund while cleaning one of the rooms cleaner unknowingly been corrupted installation "When starts to drip from the ceiling," the famous artist Martin Kippenberger.
The installation is a pinnacle of wooden boards as a man, for which there was a bowl with patina, on the idea of the artist symbolizes the remnants of water dripped from the ceiling.
Cleaner, thinking that the mud in the basin, and the excess can stain flooring around the installation, it washed. This was done in spite of the request of the museum not to approach closer to art than twenty centimeters.
According to the museum, the installation can not be restored. It was insured for the amount of 800 thousand euros.
