 Kromogeksal  The remedy for allergies. Kromogeksal has a strong membrane-stabilizing effect. The principle of operation is based on the inhibition of mast cell degranulation, calcium entry blocking them, braking release of bradykinin, histamine , Bioactive substances. Kromogeksal able to prevent attack bronchospasm . The drug is effectively used as a preventive. Kromogeksal available as aerosol, eye drops, powder.

Indications and contraindications:

The drug is prescribed for hay fever, for the prophylaxis of allergic rhinitis. Kromogeksal contraindicated in case of intolerance and hypersensitivity cromoglicic acid , Breastfeeding, if carrying a pregnancy. When polyps in the nasal cavity, liver and renal disease kromogeksal used with caution.

Side effect:

Frequent sneezing , Burning, rhinorrhea Rarely observed nosebleeds . Use of the drug can be accompanied kromogeksal difficulty swallowing, skin rash, hives , Stridor, headaches, an unpleasant taste in the mouth.

Mode of application:

Kromogeksal recommended instilled into each nostril 3 drops, the dosage of children reduced by half. Special instructions:

In very rare cases, side effects other than those observed swelling of joints , Watery eyes, swelling of the throat, swelling of the salivary glands, nasal congestion, exfoliative dermatitis, anemia, pericarditis, periarteritis, myalgia , Nephropathy, peripheral neuritis , Polymyositis, photodermatitis .

Drug Interactions:

Kromogeksal enhances the activity   H1-histamine blockers .
