Indications:

Contraindications:

Glucosamine sulfate is not prescribed for phenylketonuria, intolerance basic substance and lidocaine (used by intramuscular administration of a medicament as an analgesic solvent), breastfeeding, severe renal pathology system, pregnancy and children up to the age of twelve. Intramuscular administration on the basis of lidocaine is contraindicated in epilepsy   a history of congestive heart failure, severe liver disease and renal system, in violation of intracardiac conduction . Responses to the drug glucosamine sulfate indicate a high efficacy in the treatment of joint pain.


Side effect:

The use of the drug may be associated with allergic reactions, diarrhea syndrome, flatulence, nausea, stomachalgia , Itchy skin. In intramuscular medication marked tremor of limbs, numbness of the oral mucosa and tongue, dizziness, headaches, diplopia , Increased drowsiness, vomiting, disturbance of cardiac conduction, disorientation   in space.

Mode of application:

Glucosamine sulfate administered intramuscularly and inside. Tablet dosage form:   twice daily or 750 mg three times a day 600mg. Powder for solution:   200 ml of water, dissolve the contents of one bag, ready to accept a solution of 1 times a day. Solution for intramuscular injection:   glucosamine ampoule previously diluted in a solvent (e.g., lidocaine), the injection is performed three times a week for 400 mg. In intramuscular possible additional intake of medication in tablet form. The duration of treatment is 4-6 weeks. The course can be repeated after 2 months, if necessary.

Drug Interactions:

Glucosamine sulfate is compatible with glucocorticosteroids and preparations of NSAIDs. The drug is able to reduce the absorption of chloramphenicol, semisynthetic penicillins , The opposite effect is observed with simultaneous treatment with tetracycline. When using a solution for intramuscular injection, it is important to be careful while treating Polymyxin B , MAO inhibitors, cimetidine, sodium thiopental, aymalinu, digoxin, geksobarbitalom, procainamide, quinidine, verapamil, amiodarone, beta-blockers , Sedatives and hypnotics.
