Indications:

Hydrocortisone cream is prescribed for sympathetic ophthalmia, iritis, blepharitis Inflammatory diseases of the eye after a chemical or physical impact. The drug is used for inflammation of the anterior part of the eyeball when the intact corneal epithelium (after surgery, traumatic injuries of the eyeball).

Contraindications:

Hydrocortisone does not apply to trachoma , Violation of the integrity of the epithelium of the eye and fungal infection of the eye, the eye of tuberculosis, in the period of vaccination in case of intolerance of the active ingredient.

Side effect:

Hydrocortisone cream can cause   exophthalmos , Increased intraocular pressure, long-term therapy is formed back subcapsular cataracts . Also, allergic reactions, injection sclera, an allergic response.

Mode of application:

The ointment is administered into the conjunctival sac of 2-3 times a day (1 cm).

Special instructions:

It is unacceptable for the period of application of ointment to use contact lenses. During pregnancy, hydrocortisone may be used for no longer than 7-10 days. The time interval between the application of ointments and eye drops applique must be not less than 15 minutes. If you want to do work that requires more attention, the drug hydrocortisone is applied for 30 minutes.
